Logistics audit of warehouse

Logistics audit of a warehouse is a way to improve the work of the warehouse through research and analysis of warehouse resources and processes. Logistic audits are aimed at identifying shortcomings in the organization of the warehouse and its work and the formation of proposals for their elimination.

There are three main situations in which an audit is required:
  • Warehouse overload when the volume of purchases and deliveries exceeds the actual capacity of the premises
  • High maintenance costs
  • Preparation for automation
The logistics audit includes analysis of infrastructure, processes, documentation, information systems and preparation of a feasibility study for the selection of WMS.

The results of the logistics audit are a list of identified problems, proposals for their solution, need analysis and the effect of automation.

The identification and elimination of problems in the warehouse leads to a reduction in the maintenance budget, optimization in the use of warehouse space, equipment, staff. All this leads to a significant improvement in the efficiency of the warehouse and the company as a whole.
